Said to be distilled to the lowest proof of any US whiskey, it offers a rich, thick mouthfeel and robust flavour. Its also produced using the sour mash process, so a small amount mash from a prior production run is added into the fermentation run. Nose: Toasted caramel with hints of vanilla and honey, sweet dried tobacco leaf and soft runny honey
